Starfish Groove Hi Hats

The Starfish Groove Hi Hats put fast pedal response at the heart of the groove. This 13-inch pair combines a medium brilliant top with a traditional medium-heavy, flat bottom cymbal featuring four vent holes, designed to release trapped air as the cymbals close.

When a hi-hat closes, air between the cymbals can form a cushion that slightly slows their contact. The four vent holes in the Starfish Groove bottom cymbal give that air an escape route, reducing the cushioning effect and allowing quicker contact for an agile, immediate feel underfoot.
